Unfortunately, because of my personal health issues, I was unable to attend class this week. However, after my one on one meeting to discuss what I missed I will write a response as well. As for my learning from our second class in this course, I was truly blown away with information. I am somebody who knows very little about computers or technology in general. Getting to set up a website and design the layout was a challenging yet extremely rewarding task. I was having trouble changing colours and adding pictures to my blog however after some playing with the system I managed to design my website.
I found our guest presenter to be extremely captivating and found it to be enlightening all of the information out there on inquiry and the variety of web sources available. He offered valuable knowledge to help us with our websites and learning more about consent over your online identity. I continue to find it interesting about how many teachers are using Twitter and Instagram to help other teachers with resources and experiences. I am excited to set up my twitter and begin to deep dive into the world of education and all the resources given to others. Learning more and more about my future career and the amount of support there is in the community is inspiring.
