Last week I finished my first embroidery project which was a big win for me. I was struggling for a while motivating myself to embroider because I am not great at it. However, one night I sat myself down, put on a show and decided to just work really hard. This week I have two jobs to get done for my project. The first is to make a trip to Michaels and get a new thread for my project. I will also need a new set of needles because I lost the ones that are easier to thread. My second step for this week is to finalize the details of my project. I have two ideas in mind that I will share in my post, the first is a picture of the house from “Up” with balloons attached holding the house afloat. The other idea is to embroider a T-shirt I have and put a fun drawing or cartoon on the top left corner of it. Either way, I will need to get a new color scheme of thread for whichever I choose. You will have to tune into my next post to see which one I decide to start.
